Outreach is a Valued Commitment

Outreach is a valued commitment of ours. We have an ongoing relationship with Tillman Elementary School providing school supplies each summer. Other outreach expressions of our church include our thrift store, 10th Avenue Thrift, a growing relationship with the North River Care Pregnancy Center, the East Coast Migrant Head Start Project and assisting the local homeless community with food and clothing. We also reach out through seminars and workshops such as our Surviving the Holidays Grief Recovery workshop offered every November and our Keeping Your Brain Young and Healthy seminars held at various times.

Our Thrift store - 10th Avenue Thrift!!

Our thrift store is open Tuesday through Saturday from 12-3 PM. You can use credit and debit cards or cash. We have monthly specials and “pop-up deals” each week.

Our Thrift Store supports our Outreach Missions throughout our community.

Feeding Our Homeless Neighbors

Every month, on the first Tuesday, we provide lunch and hygiene items for our homeless neighbors. Thank you to all who donate food, hygiene items and funds along with those who prepare the meals.

If you would like to help in some way (financially or otherwise) please contact our office for more information at: office@ppcfl.org

Our 2024 School Supplies ministry

Joan, Nicole and Jeff delivered 2 carloads of school supplies to Tillman Elementary School on September 12th.

Joan, Jeff and Nicole delivered 2 carloads of school supplies to Tillman Elementary School on September 12th. A monetary donation was also delivered for the teachers and staff to use for additional needs. Thank you to our generous congregation!!

Thank you to our amazing congregation for the tremendous support of our school supply drive for James Tillman Elementary School here in Palmetto!  They were very appreciative and said it's an amazing help to the teachers, children and their families.

Our 2024 christmas ministry

In the past we have also supplied them with the much needed supplies in January as well and their exact words were, " Your church saved us going into the spring months!"

This December we'd like your support once again in lieu of Christmas toys.  Thanks to the Marine Corps supplying toys last year we have more than enough to cover the children at the East Coast Migrant Head Start Program this year.

More updates to come...

Our Outreach Continues

All our outreach ministries continue and are needed more now than ever before.

East Coast Head Start Migrant Center

Head Start feeds approximately 61 children, ages newborn to 5 years old, breakfast and lunch while their parents work in the fields.  We have been involved in this ministry for over 2 years and it is very special.  All foods must be non-perishable and include canned, boxed and packaged foods for breakfast and lunch meals.  In addition, children’s toiletries such as toothbrushes, toothpaste, soap, shampoo etc., for children are very helpful.

Once again, the same suggestion applies here. Just indicate “Migrant Children” on your check.

Your support of any or all three of these outreach ministries will make a big impact on the people who are so often ignored or forgotten. Thank you for your faithful support.
